Terms of Service
1. About Evido Decisions
Evido Decisions AS ("Evido", "we", "us") provides an AI-powered, evidence-based decision support tool for leaders and organisations. The service draws on verified scientific research in organisational psychology to support evidence-based leadership decisions.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Evido platform, including the web application, chat interface, and Insights library ("the Service"). The Service includes all features, tools, interfaces, models, and content made available through the Evido platform. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Information provided in the checkout process, including price, features, and duration, forms part of the agreement. In the event of conflict, specifically agreed terms take precedence to the extent they do not conflict with mandatory consumer protection law.

2. Eligibility and Account Access
The Service is available to both consumers and professional users. Nothing in these Terms limits the statutory rights of consumers under Norwegian law.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
3. Subscription and Payment
Evido offers the following subscription tiers:
- Free. Limited access with 10 questions per month and full citations on every answer.
- Pro (launch price 999 NOK/month; regular 1,299 NOK/month). Unlimited questions, answers tailored to your business context, industry, and seniority, full conversation history, the insights library, and priority answers.
- Enterprise. Custom pricing. Includes everything in Pro, onboarding for leaders, and dedicated support.
All prices shown to consumers include VAT. No additional fees will be added. Consumers will not be charged any additional costs that were not clearly presented before purchase.
Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance unless otherwise agreed. Payment is processed through our third-party payment provider. You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the current billing period. Enterprise contracts are governed by a separate agreement.
4. Formation of Agreement
The agreement becomes binding when the consumer completes the purchase and receives order confirmation. The agreement is not binding if the consumer or Evido has made an obvious and significant error, and the other party realised or should have realised the error.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
- Use the Service to process or store data in violation of third-party rights.
- Reproduce, resell, or redistribute any part of the Service without prior written consent from Evido.
6. Nature of the Service and Disclaimer
The Service provides decision support based on verified scientific research in organisational psychology. Responses are intended to translate research into practical, accessible language to support your decision-making process. The Service functions as a supplement and indicator, not a substitute for professional judgment, and not a basis for sole reliance in any situation.
Evido does not provide legal, financial, or medical advice. Nothing in the Service constitutes a professional recommendation, and Evido accepts no liability for outcomes arising from actions taken on the basis of information provided by the Service, including where such actions do not produce the intended result or cause unintended consequences.
Individual circumstances vary, and research findings may not apply equally in all contexts. The responsibility for any decision made remains with the user.
These disclaimers do not limit consumers' statutory rights regarding defects, non-conformity, or remedies under Norwegian law.
7. AI Output and Limitations
The Service uses AI to generate responses based on verified scientific research. While we take care to ground all output in credible sources, AI-generated responses may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. Output may vary between sessions and is not guaranteed to be complete, current, or applicable to your specific situation.
Users are responsible for independently verifying any information provided by the Service before acting on it. Evido does not warrant the accuracy or completeness of AI-generated content.
These limitations do not limit consumers' statutory rights regarding defects, non-conformity, or remedies under Norwegian law.
8. User Content and Responsibility
You are solely responsible for the content you submit through the Service, including questions, descriptions, and any other input. You must not submit content that is unlawful, contains personal data about third parties without a lawful basis, or violates the rights of others.
If you submit personal data about employees or third parties through the Service, you are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis to do so under applicable data protection legislation, including GDPR.
9. Data, Privacy and Confidentiality
Evido Decisions AS is the data controller for personal data processed in connection with the Service. Personal data is processed only to the extent necessary to fulfil this agreement or as otherwise permitted by law.
Evido processes personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our Privacy Policy, available at evidodecisions.com/personvern, describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
User accounts, conversations, and message content are stored in Supabase (AWS eu-west-3, Paris, France). Application infrastructure is hosted on UpCloud within the European Union. Both providers are EU-based and subject to GDPR.
To generate responses, user queries are processed by Anthropic's Claude API. Anthropic is a US-based provider; query content is transmitted to and processed outside the European Union. Anthropic does not use API data to train its models. We are in the process of ensuring appropriate data processing agreements and transfer mechanisms are in place.
Evido does not sell, rent, or share your data or conversation content with third parties, except where strictly necessary to operate the Service or where required by law. All third-party service providers are selected on the basis of their compliance with applicable data protection legislation.
A Data Processing Agreement (DPA) is available on request and is required for all Enterprise contracts. Contact us at contact@evidodecisions.com.
10. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the Service, including the interface design and underlying software, are owned by Evido Decisions AS and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Service for your internal professional purposes. Nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership rights to you.
11. Termination and Suspension
Evido reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms, engaged in misuse of the Service, or failed to make payment when due.
For consumers, termination may only occur in accordance with mandatory consumer protection law.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ceases immediately. We will retain your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. You may request deletion of your data by contacting us at contact@evidodecisions.com.
For Enterprise customers, termination is governed by the applicable Enterprise Agreement.
12. Changes to the Service and Pricing
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time. Material changes, including changes to pricing, will be notified at least 14 days in advance via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after such notice constitutes acceptance of the changes.
13. Limitation of Liability
For consumers, these limitations apply only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer protection law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Evido Decisions AS shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed, to the extent permitted by law, the amount you have paid to Evido in the three months preceding the claim.
14. Warranty
Evido does not offer any separate guarantee or warranty beyond what follows from mandatory consumer protection law.
15. Consumer Rights (B2C)
This section applies to individual consumers purchasing access to the Service for personal use, in accordance with Norwegian consumer protection legislation, including the Right of Withdrawal Act (angrerettloven), the Digital Services Act (digitalytelsesloven), and the Consumer Purchases Act (forbrukerkjopsloven). These statutory rights cannot be waived or limited by these Terms.
Delivery. Digital content is considered delivered when access to the Service is made available to you after payment.
Right of withdrawal. If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days, without giving any reason. For subscriptions, the 14-day period begins the day after your first payment is made. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must notify us in writing at contact@evidodecisions.com before the deadline. A standard withdrawal form (angreskjema) is available at forbrukertilsynet.no or on request. If you request immediate access to the Service before the withdrawal period expires, you must explicitly consent to losing your right of withdrawal. This consent will be collected during checkout. If we fail to inform you of the right of withdrawal and provide a standard withdrawal form before purchase, the withdrawal period is extended to 12 months.
Refunds. If you withdraw within the applicable period, we will refund your payment without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal notice.
Defects and remedies. If the Service is defective or not delivered as agreed, consumers have the right to remedies under the Norwegian Digital Services Act (digitalytelsesloven), including correction, price reduction, or termination of the agreement. Consumers may submit complaints within two years from delivery.
Pricing. All prices shown are inclusive of VAT. No additional costs will be charged beyond the stated subscription price.
Complaints and dispute resolution. If you have a complaint, please contact us at contact@evidodecisions.com. We will do our best to resolve the matter promptly. If we are unable to reach an agreement, you may contact Forbrukertilsynet (the Norwegian Consumer Authority) at forbrukertilsynet.no or by phone at 23 400 600. You may also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Norwegian law. In the event of any dispute relating to these Terms or the Service, Norwegian law applies and the parties submit to this exclusive jurisdiction.
